Ralph Tyler is the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Ralph Tyler Companies (RTC). The firm is one of the region's most successful engineering, architectural and program/construction management firms. RTC’s achievements have helped shape the landscape of Cleveland. Projects include the new Louis Stokes Wing of Cleveland Public Library, the Carl B. Stokes Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport expansion, and the new Cleveland Browns Stadium. The firm was twice honored with the Weatherhead 100 Award from the CWRU Weatherhead School of Management.

Prior to joining his father, Ralph C. Tyler at RTC, Ralph served as the Executive Director of the Greater Cleveland Roundtable, one of the city’s preeminent civic organizations composed of business, political, educational and religious leaders.  During his tenure, he coordinated the group's activities in education, labor management, race relations and minority economic development, enabling the Roundtable to help create public and private partnerships, which continue to contribute to the tremendous resurgence that Cleveland has enjoyed in recent years.  His professional experience also includes executive positions at Citibank in New York City and TRW. He is a graduate of Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University Law School.

 Ralph’s professional responsibilities have ranged from management of state government relations to oversight of legal and regulatory matters.  His background in business, civic, legal and political leadership, plus fundamental values learned from his father, positions him to lead RTC in the 21st century.

 His organizational affiliations include the National Urban League, and life membership in both the NAACP and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.  .  He is a proud member of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, 32º.  His numerous civic involvements and awards include Housing Advocacy, 100 Black Men Businessman of the Year, Hope House of the Palm Beaches, Palm Beach Atlantic University Co-Entrepreneur of the Year, CNN/Trumpet Award recipient and the Musical Arts Association.

Ralph is currently establishing a new RTC office in Las Vegas, Nevada
