Nicole Bell became the Manager of Programs and Assistant to the President of The Presidents' Council in August 2008. She brings with her a strong education and background in business, sales, marketing, and management.
As Manager of Programs, Nicole oversees the PC Scholars Program, which provides intense instruction and mentoring to select Cleveland Metropolitan School District students with a focus on developing leadership skills, academic achievement, and careers preparedness. She also manages the Emerging Entrepreneurs Program, which assists African-American entrepreneurs whose companies enjoy high growth potential to move beyond the emerging phases and become vibrant, fully realized businesses. In addition, she is in charge of the daily operations of the office and works with the President/ Executive Director with event planning, marketing, communications and fundraising.
Prior to joining The Presidents' Council, Nicole served as a staffing manager and recruiter with a national staffing company, where she placed top administrative and management professionals with various Northeast Ohio companies. She began her career as a sales manager with a national retail department store, where she managed a team of 11 and was named Manager of the Year.
An Ohio native, Nicole is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration at Cleveland State University, focusing her studies on Human Resources and Labor Relations. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and management from Baldwin-Wallace College. She is a member of numerous young professional organizations, including Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, and Baldwin-Wallace College’s Women’s Club as well as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
