Athena Nimmer is the Program and Volunteer Coordinator for The Presidents' Council Foundation. Athena joined The Presidents' Council Foundation in 2010 as the PC Scholars Program Coordinator and was named the Program and Volunteer Coordinator in August 2011.

Athena wears many hats for the organization, from The Presidents' Council Foundation’s social media to assistance with events. However, one of her primary responsibilities is to support the activities for The PC Scholars Program, which provides intense instruction and mentoring to select Cleveland Metropolitan School District students with a focus on leadership skills, academic achievement, career preparedness and life skills, and the Emerging Entrepreneurs Program, which assists African-American entrepreneurs move beyond the emerging phases and become vibrant full realized businesses.

Athena also manages The Presidents’ Council Foundation’s volunteer program, where she recruits and coordinates volunteers whether they are mentors for our PC Scholars, volunteers to help in the office or volunteers to help during events held by The Presidents’ Council Foundation.

Athena earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from Hampton University and is an avid volunteer, donating her time to various intuitions in Northeast Ohio such as the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Shaker Heights Community Center.
